The Pottsville Apaches fell in a 4A-4 road contest to Subiaco Academy by a 67-63 score on Monday night. Pottsville (3-4, 0-2) got 24 points from senior guard Travis Cole and 12 from Michael Perry, while Josh Duggar chipped in 10.

The Apaches led 18-17 after a quarter and 33-31 at the half before Subi took a 49-43 lead after three quarters and held on for the win. "It was an ugly game with a lot of foul trouble on both sides," Coach Shane Thurman said. "I am a little frustrated by the outcome because I know we can play so much better, but at the same time I feel like we are really close to being a good team."

Coach Garrett Hill Quote: We didn't play well tonight, but it was good to
still be able to pull out the win. We got off to a good start and got an
early lead, but I felt like the guys let up after the first half. We have
to do a better job of executing on offense and finishing plays.
