Avery Earl Kinsey age 94 of Dardanelle died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at his home. He was born April 7, 1919 at Carden Bottoms, AR to the late Benjamin Franklin and Linnie Robison Kinsey. He attended the Slaty Crossing Freewill Baptist Church and loved farming his cattle and teaching all his grandkids how to ride horses and going to rodeos. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lucille Kinsey; two granddaughters, Marilyn Annett Wilcox and Darlene Moore; one grandson, Mark Wallace; four brothers, O.L. Kinsey Gene Kinsey Vaughn Kinsey and Norban Kinsey; one sister, Margaret Bour.
Survivors include one son, Bob Kinsey and wife Pat of Dardanelle; two daughters, Pat Wallace of Waldron, Janet Lewis and husband Dewey Joe of Dardanelle; one brother, Raymond Kinsey of Utah; three sisters, Mary Rose Burks of Hot Springs, Patsy Ruth White and husband Larry of Cecil, Wanda Damazio of Mt. Ida; ten grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren and twenty nine great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00a.m., Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Denver Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle. Visitation will be held Friday 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the chapel.
Pallbearers will be Bucky Talley, Josh Davis, Jonathan Wilcox, Jeffery Tackett, Jeremy Metcalf, Dustin Wallace, James Avery Ennis.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Eddie Wilcox, Kenny Biggs, David Traffanstedt, Jerry Bob Metcalf, Kenny Hedrick, Billy Wallace and the Nurses of Arkansas Hospice.
