Russellville Man Faces Additional Drug Charges

 
Donald Covey, Jr., 24, of Russellville was back in district court today on an additional charge of delivery of a controlled substance.
               
Tony Haley, narcotics investigator with the Arkansas State Police, testified that in the past six months Covey has sold a total of two grams of methamphetamines to undercover informants with the 5th Judicial Drug Task Force. The transactions were recorded with a digital recording device.
              
  Covey has a previous charge of delivery of a controlled substance for selling 10 Oxycodone pills to an undercover informant.
              
  Covey is being held on an additional $20,000 concurrent bond. He will appear in circuit court on March 19 for both charges.
