Emergency personnel are responding to a 911 call reporting a plane crash on Cannaday Flat Road in Hector. The crash was reported to Pope County 911 dispatchers at approximately 5 p.m. Monday.

As more information is received, RVL will provide updates and photos to readers.

UPDATE: We've received reports stating that the engine stalled 7 miles after take-off. The pilot attempted to coast into Russellville but then attempted an emergency landing on Cannaday Flat Road where one of the wings was caught in a power line, causing the plane to crash into an adjacent field. The pilot and 3 passengers all walked away from the accident.
